5 Craft Ideas for the First Day of Summer
1. Sun Catcher Art
Create your own sunshine with a DIY sun catcher! Cut shapes out of clear contact paper or wax paper, then fill them with colorful tissue paper pieces.
Hang them in the window and let the sunlight shine through for a beautiful summer glow.
2. Paper Ice Cream Cones
Craft your favorite frozen treat using construction paper. Roll brown paper into cones and top with scoops made from colorful circles. Add glitter, buttons, or pom-poms as sprinkles for extra fun.
3. Nature Collage
Head outside and gather leaves, petals, grass, and other natural treasures. Use them to make a collage on cardboard or thick paper.
It’s a fun way to explore nature while making a beautiful keepsake of the season.
4. Paper Plate Ocean Scene
